From design to delivery, Bouygues Immobilier has acquired unique expertise in residential property, whether single-family homes, apartment buildings, social housing or urban planning and development. The company has built up its know-how over more than 60 years, always pursuing the same exacting standards. Bouygues Immobilier took 11,776 residential property reservations in 2014, 7% more than in 2013.
PIONEER OF GREEN PROPERTY
A standard-setter in green property and sustainable housing, Bouygues Immobilier introduced BBC‑Effinergie® low-energy certification for all its residential developments in 2010, three years before it became a regulatory requirement. Constantly innovating to reduce energy consumption in its residential programmes, Bouygues Immobilier is able to offer increasingly adaptable and affordable energy-efficient homes.
Bouygues Immobilier has developed a number of positive-energy residential programmes since 2012, such as L’Avance in Montreuil, near Paris, Vert Eden in Aix-en-Provence, in southern France, and Green Home in Nanterre, near Paris.
AN ENTRY-LEVEL AND MID-RANGE POSITIONING
Even though the French housing market contracted by 3.9% in 2014, the number of reservations taken by Bouygues Immobilier rose 7%. This achievement was directly linked to the wide range of types of housing offered, including affordably priced programmes, residences for senior citizens and single-family houses, covering the needs of much of the population.
In 2013, Bouygues Immobilier embarked on new projects in urban regeneration zones where the lower 5.5% rate of VAT applies. One practical example is the Belles Rives neighbourhood in Eragny, to the north-west of Paris, which includes 650 housing units.
Another example is at Saint-Fons, near Lyon, where Bouygues Immobilier was able to market apartments at €2,000 per m². Its Maison France division, created in 2011, offers entry-level, low-energy, timber-frame houses for less than €160,000.
A long-standing partner of social landlords, Bouygues Immobilier includes social housing units in most of its developments. Social landlords accounted for 24% of the company's residential property reservations in 2013.
TAILORED CUSTOMER SUPPORT
In 2010, Bouygues Immobilier introduced a policy of tailored customer support, from first contact to handover of the property. The customer has three types of contact person, according to the state of progress on the project:
- the customer adviser, until financing arrangements are complete;
- the customer relations manager, who provides support to the customer throughout the project, in cooperation with technical staff, from reservation to handover and the end of the
defects liability period;
- the after-sales manager after the defects liability period, for any claims under the 10-year guarantee.
The Mediation department may step in at any time if problems arise.
Bouygues Immobilier has also entered into partnerships with Crédit Lyonnais and Crédit Foncier to offer its customers advantageous financing solutions. The service is greatly appreciated, especially when credit is tight.
