MIPIM, THE ANNUAL MEETING POINT FOR PROPERTY PROFESSIONALS
Every year, property professionals including investors, developers, architects, consultants, local authorities and building occupiers make a date at MIPIM , in Cannes. It’s a 4-day opportunity to present projects, demonstrate know-how and make new contacts. More than 1,800 exhibitors, showing on 20,000m2 of stand space, will take part in this year’s MIPIM, the 24th event, from 12 to 15 March. And around 4,000 investors are already signed up to attend.
CONFERENCE SESSIONS EXPLORING THE FUTURE OF PROPERTY
Visitors can expect an exceptionally rich programme of conferences this year, covering around 70 topics. These relate to themes ranging from global investment opportunities and developments in property financing to new occupier expectations and the major urban development projects of the future.
Eric Mazoyer, Deputy CEO of Bouygues Immobilier will take the floor to provide a focus on Hikari, the first mixed-use positive-energy city block. The speech will form part of a panel discussion entitled “Lyon, the intelligent city” on 13 March at 5.30pm on the Greater Lyon stand (stand R31-02 – Riviera hall). Participants will include Gérard Collomb, Senator and Mayor of Lyon and President of Greater Lyon, the Japanese architect Kengo Kuma, Alain Kergoat, Marketing Director for Toshiba, and Hideo Hato, Chairman of Nedo.
On Thursday 14 March, a conference session on the theme of “new occupier needs: the key to the future of commercial property” will take place on Bouygues Immobilier’s stand (Mistral 01 exhibition area). Taking part are: Cédric de Lestrange, Executive Vice-President in charge of Users for Bouygues Immobilier; Florence Peronnau, Head of Corporate Real Estate at Sanofi; Denis Valode, arthitect at Valode & Pistre; Gilles Betthaeuser, CEO AOS Studley and Sigrid Duhamel, Group Property Director for PSA Peugeot Citroën.
MAJOR BOUYGUES IMMOBILIER PROJECTS SHOWCASED ON THE STAND
Throughout the week, Bouygues Immobilier will showcase flagship projects on its stand. Chosen to reflect the company’s innovative strategy in corporate and commercial property, these include the mixed-use Hikari city block project in Lyon, and Green Office® positive-energy buildings in Rueil-Malmaison and Spring .
Visitors will be able to appreciate the importance of these projects by exploring 3D interactive presentations, virtual visits and architectural models. The brand new Green Office website will also be showcased on the stand.
