Designed by architect Olivier Desaleux, Equinoxe comprises 54 housing units (ranging from studios to 4-room apartments) and a car park, across two buildings of four and five storeys. The apartments, the majority of which extend from one side of the building to the other, provide access to balconies, patios and private gardens, enabling residents to enjoy the landscaped grounds at the centre of the development.
This contemporary residence, with its white brick-clad façade, will form a striking landmark overlooking the new square. Alongside shops, schools and playgrounds, future residents will be able to enjoy the Etuvée park, which has been completely renovated. Public transport, and several roads, will make it easy to reach the town centre, the mainline train station and various town exit roads.
Like all Bouygues Immobilier projects, Equinoxe has achieved NF Logement environmental certification and is targeting the BBC-effinergieTM low-energy label. Factors that will enable the development to attain the certification include a gas-powered heating and individual hot water system, a high level of insulation, controlled and optimised ventilation, and building materials chosen to minimise environmental impact.
The Equinoxe residence will be handed over in the first quarter of 2014.
