This urban development is France’s first to be labelled BiodiverCityTM at the design stage. It will promote the development of wildlife by allowing it to run freely through the area and by maintaining local species. Under the terms of the certification, a series of initiatives are planned, such as street furniture made from eco-materials, incorporation of greenery into the buildings in the form of climbing plants, and rainwater recovery for irrigation of the grounds.
Marketing of the operation began successfully in early October.
