Located on the site of the former Vachette factory in Troyes, Domaine d’Antoine is a major project to transform a disused industrial location into a residential neighbourhood. The project aims to rehabilitate the city’s industrial heritage while preserving the overall aspect of the site.
A third of the existing buildings will be rehabilitated. The warehouses will be converted into ten loft apartments, while the offices, with their typical factory roofs, will be converted into 18 homes. A storage building will become a multi-purpose hall and a car park.
The project will also include a programme of 55 apartments for owner-occupiers, a 24-room residence for senior citizens, 32 social housing units and 18 villas with gardens.
For the city of Troyes it marks the genesis of a new, 160-unit residential neighbourhood, less densely populated and more open to the city’s other neighbourhoods. The Domaine d’Antoine boasts a wide range of amenities. The newly built parts meet the requirements of 2005 thermal regulations, offering low-energy, high environmental performance housing.
This major transformation project is Bouygues Immobilier’s first in Troyes.
