Bouygues Immobilier is a leading private property developer in France and Europe, with 1,908 employees at 31 December 2017 and sales of €2,712 million in 2017. With 39 branches in France and four outside France, Bouygues Immobilier has nearly 60 years' experience in developing residential, corporate and commercial projects in more than 250 towns and cities. Bouygues Immobilier has a strong commitment to innovation and sustainable development and therefore seeks to provide better quality of life over the long term for all its customers by making their experience of the buying process and the use they make of the living spaces and services created for them as pleasant as possible. Bouygues Immobilier is the first developer to be certified ISO 9001 in France, NF Habitat HQE, and Top Employer France 2017, and to win the 2016 prize for the best customer relations awarded by the French Customer Relations Association (AFRC).
Aware of the challenges posed by sustainable development for its sector, Bouygues Immobilier has been committed to a proactive policy of designing and marketing environmentally-friendly property programmes by seeking H&E (Habitat and Environment) certification for all its housing units since 2006.
Now, more than two and a half years ahead of schedule, Bouygues Immobilier is taking another step forward by certifying all its residential property programmes against the BBC low-energy label. Their average energy consumption will be 50 kWh/m²/year* in primary energy, equating to a ten-fold reduction in consumption versus a building constructed in the 1990s and a three-fold reduction versus a recent one. This desire to keep one step ahead of future regulations means that Bouygues Immobilier is the most committed to protecting the environment.
In order to underline this commitment, Bouygues Immobilier has decided to certify all its new developments against the BBC Effinergie label, which means that it will be able to guarantee its clients the quality, durability and thermal performances of their property assets.
The BBC Effinergie label guarantees owners:
- a home that is energy-efficient and more environmentally-friendly;
- a home that is more pleasant to live in throughout all seasons and more comfortable thanks to thermal comfort in winter and in summer;
- the ability to benefit from government measures to encourage home ownership: such as the PTZ "verdi" and Scellier "vert", which are a zero-interest loan scheme and green tax incentives respectively;
- enhanced value for their property and therefore a better price when they decide to sell at a later date.
Bouygues Immobilier is to launch the marketing of more than 6,000 homes certified against the NF Logement and BBC Effinergie low energy labels this year.
