Groupe Financière Teychené, whose main focus is retail property and the related activity of hotel properties, thus completes its fourth hotel property investment. All the group's hotel investments have been carried out with Accor group and come with a long-term commercial lease, a fixed rent and an internationally-renowned chain as operator, either under a management contract or a master franchise contract, such as this present one. It will draw on the experience of Groupe Accueil Hôtel (Guy Parrain), which currently operates nine hotels under various brand names of the Accor group.
The district, whose urban developer is Plaine Commune Développement, already comprises more than 1.5 million m² of office space and enjoys a pivotal position in the "Grand Paris" major infrastructure programme. The hotel's desirable location, at the heart of the third biggest business district in the Paris region, right next to line 13 of the Paris metro, the future T8 tram line station and the Stade de France stadium, means the future operator can be confident about the potential of an upmarket hotel in the area.
The hotel complex will be operated under the Novotel brand and will open to the public at the beginning of 2015. It will have 156 rooms, a restaurant and areas that can be booked for seminars.
Designed by architects firm Antoine Grumbach et associés, it will be certified against very demanding environmental quality labels, namely NF Bâtiments Tertiaires Démarche HQE® and the BBC-effinergie® low-energy label.
