The cooperation between Orange Polska and Bouygues Immobilier Polska started with the signature of the lease agreement in late 2009 and the beginning of the “built-to suit” construction works. The parties signed the Completion protocol in July 2013. Miasteczko Orange is the first investment in Central Europe for Qatar Holding. The Qatari fund’s strategy is to invest in very attractive international, local and strategic projects.

COMFORT AT WORK
The building provides users with a good amount of daylight - the sky and a window can be seen from every workstation. For user comfort, the openable windows have been designed to allow for natural ventilation of the premises, in accordance with needs. At the same time the building limits the use of air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation. Miasteczko Orange also supports biodiversity, as shown by the presence of birds’ nests on the premises.
The underground car park can accommodate 1,050 cars and 120 bikes. Monitored bike stands are placed in well-lit area, close to the lifts. Showers and changing rooms are available for cyclists.
In the car park, 53 places have been reserved for carsharing. Employees travelling in the same vehicle will be able to use these places. Carsharing will be promoted among Orange staff in order to reduce travel costs, emissions and traffic jams.
AN ENERGY-EFFICIENT OFFICE BUILDING
Miasteczko Orange, being one of the most modern office buildings in Warsaw, meets strict environmental standards. One of the architectural aims whilst designing the premises was to minimalise the impact on the environment and improve the energy efficiency of the offices. Miasteczko Orange consumes around 30% less energy than an average Polish office building. This office complex has obtained BREEAM Very Good certification at the design stage, which confirms the project meets demanding ecological norms and the best European standards in office construction. One example of the energy-saving solutions is the lifts, which consume 20% less energy than standard equipment. Furthermore, they remain in stand-by position during periods of low activity.
