A leader in information systems for hospitals, MiPih is a public-sector body that develops software solutions for health facilities. It also has a strong presence in services and outsourcing. The headcount at MiPih has almost doubled in the last five years, to reach 480 employees across three sites (Toulouse, Amiens and Rheims), including more than 340 employees at the Basso Cambo head office in Toulouse.
To ensure their needs continue to be met, the members of MiPih (more than 400 hospitals) decided to acquire the new offices for the company to accommodate employees and offer new services.
Located at the entrance to the Basso Cambo business park in Toulouse, developed by OPPIDEA, the building provides 3,500m² of office space across 4 floors with a basement level, and is opposite the terminus station on line A of the metro system.
Designed by architects Vigneu & Zilio, the building has been designed as a copper “monolith” on a timber base.
User comfort and environmental concerns were prioritised in the design and development of this building. As such, the project, which integrates SI@GO software developed by Bouygues Immobilier to manage the building’s energy use, gained the “NF Bâtiments tertiaires-Démarche HQE” environmental certification for commercial buildings at the design stage.
