"When I grow up I'm going to be an explorer. I'm going to discover new places in order to build the city of the future!" With its fun style, educational content and ambitious approach, Bouygues Immobilier's animated film on the "Connected City of the Future" had every chance of doing well. And so it proved, as it won Silver in the Corporate Films section of the Housing & Eco-Innovations category. Screened on 10 and 11 June, this vision of a hyperconnected, green and supportive city won over both the 18 members of the international jury and the festival audience. Initially developed for the Demain La Ville blog (www.demainlaville.com), the video has already been watched more than 16,000 times on YouTube and is likely to gain in visibility as a result of the Deauville Green Award.
Fabrice Bonnifet, Sustainable Development and QSE Director for the Bouygues group, sent a message of congratulations to the people from Bouygues Immobilier behind the project: "Well done to all the people in the Communication department. The prize rewards the Group's efforts and commitment to sustainable development." Asserting a strong and personal vision of the city of the future, based on realistic projections about housing and communication, Bouygues Immobilier is positioning itself as a committed player which sets the agenda for the whole property development business.
