With 39 branches in France and four outside France, Bouygues Immobilier has nearly 60 years' experience in developing residential, corporate and commercial projects in more than 250 towns and cities. Bouygues Immobilier has a strong commitment to innovation and sustainable development and therefore seeks to provide better quality of life over the long term for all its customers by making their experience of the buying process and their use of the living spaces and services created for them as pleasant as possible. Our high demands in terms of quality and our concern for the working conditions of employees is recognised by the fact that Bouygues Immobilier is the first property developer to be certified ISO 9001 in France, NF Habitat HQE and Top Employer France 2019.
Bouygues Immobilier has completed the acquisition of Urbiparc. Through its founder Michel Ferrier, Urbiparc has thirty years' experience in the commercial property business, notably with the introduction into France in the 1980s of the Miniparc® concept, now to be found in some fifteen towns and cities.
Based in Grenoble, Urbiparc has carried out major business park developments all over France as well as turnkey projects for leading industrial groups like Schneider, ST Microelectronics, Sanofi and Thomson.
Deeply committed to sustainable development and the construction of low-energy consumption and even positive-energy buildings, Urbiparc is rolling out a new range of standardised, highly energy-efficient buildings under the "Ecospace" name while continuing to ensure the architectural quality of its projects.
The acquisition enables Bouygues Immobilier to consolidate its positions on the business park segment.
Urbiparc will keep its name and identity and Michel Ferrier will continue as chairman of the executive board.
"After SLC (Société Lyonnaise de Construction) in 2004, Blanc et Cie in 2007 and Urbis in 2008, Bouygues Immobilier is continuing to pursue its policy of controlled external growth, giving priority to the acquisition of high-quality local developers", said François Bertière, Bouygues Immobilier's Chairman and CEO. "Urbiparc is a well-established, highly professional and innovative company that shares the same strategic priorities as Bouygues Immobilier: sustainable development and architectural quality."
"The backing of one of the leading groups in the property development sector will enable Urbiparc to increase its growth potential", commented Michel Ferrier.
