The Font-Pré project aims to provide an excellent living environment. Overall thinking on the eco-neighbourhood's layout has been guided by environmental and social considerations and a desire to harness innovation for the benefit of future residents. The focal point of Font-Pré is its pleasant living conditions, including 10,000 m² of grounds, modular accommodation, retail premises, convenience services and alternative means of transport. Quality of life has also been pivotal to the design of buildings, which gel perfectly with the prime surroundings provided by the project.
A whole series of initiatives will be enacted within the framework of the BiodiverCity© label, including signature of a partnership agreement with the regional Bird Protection League (LPO) to provide training and coordination for the neighbourhood’s managers and residents. The aims of this agreement are encouraging biodiversity and creating a nature trail for the partially sighted as well as spaces to foster more supportive conditions for local indigenous species such as the swift.
François Bertière, Chairman and CEO of Bouygues Immobilier, stated “for several years
Bouygues Immobilier has acted as an urban developer and coordinator for both its customers and local authorities alike. The awarding of the BiodiverCity© label at the design phase of the Font-Pré neighbourhood is a further endorsement, about which we are extremely proud.”
